Service Description

Build A Bear A fun, creative and hands-on group activity where participants design and make their very own soft felt teddy bear. This activity encourages creativity, fine motor skills, choice-making and social connection in a relaxed and supportive environment, plus enjoy a Free BBQ sausage sizzle. Participants can personalise their bear with colours, bows, buttons and decorations, creating a special keepsake to take home. Perfect for children, teens or adults who enjoy creative projects. Activity includes: • Step-by-step guided support • Bear-making materials supplied • Creative decorating and personalisation • Social interaction and group participation • A handmade bear to take home plus a BBQ sausage sizzle for participants to enjoy during the session.

Cancellation Policy

At Gotcha Helping Hands, we aim to provide safe, welcoming and well-organised group activities for participants, families and support networks. To help us plan staffing, materials, catering and room capacity, please read our booking, cancellation and waitlist policies before registering. These policies apply to group activities including workshops, social groups, creative activities, community participation programs, events and other scheduled group sessions. Booking Policy Bookings are required for all group activities. Places are limited and are offered on a first-confirmed basis. To secure your booking, participants or their representative complete the intake form. A booking is considered confirmed once GHH has accepted the booking and, the activity deposit has been paid. Waitlist Policy If an activity is fully booked, participants may request to be placed on a waitlist. Waitlist places are offered when a confirmed participant cancels or when additional capacity becomes available. Participants on the waitlist will be contacted in order of suitability, support needs, availability and booking priority. Some activities may require matching of Fees & Payment Activity fees will be listed on the event information page or provided at the time of booking. Payment options a deposit is required to make a booking online, the remaining payment is due on the day Eftpos or Cash payments are available, other approved arrangements. Cancellation Policy Please NOTE Deposits are Non-Refundable. We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel your booking, please contact GHH as soon as possible. Cancellations should be made in writing by email or by phone during business hours. Behaviour & Safety GHH is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment. Participants, families, carers and support workers are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, other participants and visitors. GHH may refuse or end participation if behaviour creates a safety risk, significantly disrupts the group, or impacts the wellbeing of others. Changes to Activities Activity details may change from time to time, including date, time, venue, inclusions, facilitator, menu, materials or session structure. GHH will make reasonable efforts to notify booked participants of changes as early as possible.
