NDIS Supports 

Our Support Workers

At Gotcha Helping Hands, our support workers are central to the quality of care and support we provide.

With compassion, professionalism and respect, they deliver personalised assistance to people with disabilities, supporting greater independence, confidence and wellbeing. Our dedicated team builds meaningful relationships, promotes inclusion and ensures each person feels valued, supported and empowered in their daily life.

In Home Care

Our in-home care services support participants to remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own home.

We provide practical, respectful assistance tailored to each person’s daily routine and support needs.

 

Services may include:

  • Assistance with daily household tasks

  • Meal preparation and kitchen support

  • Laundry and linen changes

  • Light domestic cleaning

  • Support with routines and daily living skills

  • Assistance to maintain a safe and organised home environment

24/7 Care

Gotcha Helping Hands can provide around-the-clock support for participants who require a higher level of

assistance throughout the day and night. Our team delivers reliable, consistent care to support safety,

comfort and wellbeing.

 

Services may include:

  • Daytime and overnight support

  • Assistance with daily routines

  • Personal care and hygiene support

  • Meal preparation and medication prompting, where appropriate

  • Active or sleepover shifts, depending on individual needs

  • Ongoing support to maintain safety and independence

Personal Care

Our personal care services are delivered with dignity, compassion and respect. We support participants

with everyday personal tasks while encouraging independence, confidence and choice wherever possible.

 

Services may include:

  • Showering, bathing and grooming assistance

  • Dressing and personal presentation support

  • Toileting and continence support

  • Mobility and transfer assistance

  • Meal and hydration support

  • Support with morning and evening routines

Supported Independent Living 

Supported Independent Living supports participants to live more independently while receiving assistance

with daily life. Our team works alongside each person to build skills, confidence and routines that support

their individual goals.

 

Services may include:

  • Daily living support in a shared or individual home environment

  • Assistance with household responsibilities

  • Meal planning, cooking and budgeting support

  • Personal care and wellbeing support

  • Building independence and life skills

  • Support to maintain routines, safety and community connection

Capacity Building Skills

Our capacity building supports are designed to help participants develop practical skills, increase independence

and work toward their NDIS goals. We provide encouragement, guidance and hands-on support at a pace that

suits each individual.

 

Services may include:

  • Developing daily living skills

  • Building communication and social skills

  • Learning household routines and responsibilities

  • Budgeting, shopping and meal planning skills

  • Confidence building and decision-making support

  • Support to increase independence at home and in the community

Transport

Gotcha Helping Hands provides transport support to help participants attend appointments, access the

community and stay connected. Our transport services are reliable, respectful and tailored to individual needs.

 

Services may include:

  • Transport to medical and allied health appointments

  • Travel to community activities and programs

  • Assistance getting to work, study or training

  • Transport for shopping and errands

  • Support getting in and out of vehicles safely

  • Accompanied travel where additional support is required

Community Access

Our community access supports help participants connect with their community, take part in activities and build confidence outside the home. We focus on inclusion, social connection and meaningful participation.

 

Services may include:

  • Attending social and recreational activities

  • Support to access local community events

  • Assistance with appointments and errands

  • Building confidence in public spaces

  • Support to develop friendships and social skills

  • Participation in hobbies, groups and community programs

Shopping and Appointments

Our team can support participants with shopping, appointments and everyday errands. We provide practical

assistance to help people stay organised, independent and confident when managing day-to-day responsibilities.

 

Services may include:

  • Grocery shopping assistance

  • Support with writing shopping lists and planning purchases

  • Attending medical or allied health appointments

  • Assistance with banking, post office visits and errands

  • Support to communicate needs during appointments

  • Help carrying, unpacking and organising groceries

Art and Craft Activities

Gotcha Helping Hands offers engaging art and craft activities in both group and one-on-one settings.

These activities provide opportunities for creativity, social connection, skill development and enjoyment in

a welcoming and supportive environment. Located in our Activities Centre 

 

Activities may include:

  • Group art and craft sessions

  • One-on-one creative activities

  • Painting, drawing and colouring

  • Diamond art and craft projects

  • Seasonal and themed craft activities

  • Skill-building through creative expression

  • Social participation and friendship-building opportunities
