NDIS Practice Standards reform
SIL Mandatory registration including transition pathways:
New class of support / registration group will be: 0138 – Assistance with supported independent living.
>> Unregistered SIL providers need to submit an application to commence registration process by 1st Oct 2026
>> Direct employing / self-directing Participants not classed as receiving SIL if the participant "chooses and manages their own support workers (this includes directing, planning and rostering their own support workers)"
>> New Provider Registration Rules are in draft format - not yet in force
Digital Platform providers mandatory registration:
New class of support / registration group will be: 0137 – Providing a NDIS digital platform service.
